The moment you enter Casa Loma from the main entrance you see the Great Hall with the 60 feet high ceiling. The second floor of Casa Loma has the living quarters of Sir and Lady Pellatt. They each had a bedroom with baths and entertainment areas. The Windsor Room is the guest room reserved for when Royalty visited this magnificent castle. Then there is the round room which was built in the base of one of the castle's towers hence making it round.
The third floor of Casa Loma was never completed when the Pellatts lived at the mansion. It was meant to hold servant quarters, stairs leading to the towers and more. Now, this floor serves as a museum for the Queen's Own Rifles of which Sir Henry himself was the Major General. The Museum has five rooms featuring exhibits and artifacts related to World War I and II and other wars and battles where the regiment was involved.
There is a vintage cars display in the stables of Casa Loma as well as carriage rooms. The basement now has the coffee shop, the gift shop which was supposed to be a bowling alley, a wine cellar and a passage that leads to the hunting lodge. The gardens of Casa Loma are an attraction in themselves, with five acres of formal borders and magnificent walled gardens.

How to reach
By Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) -If you are taking the subway rhen board the Yonge University Spadina Subway and get down at Dupont Station. Exit the station and walk for two blocks on Spadina Avenue. You can either climb up the Baldwin stairs to Casa Loma or walk up the hill which is on the west side of the property.
By Bus: Board Bus route no. 127 from Spadina Station to davenport. You can get down at Davenport and climb up the Baldwin steps or get down at the next stop, Davenport @ Walmer, and walk up the hill on the western side of Casa.
Best time to visitCasa Loma can be visited any time of the year however it is highly recommended that you visit the castle between April to May and September to mid November, when the weather is really pleasant during spring and fall in Toronto. During the day the best time to visit Casa Loma is in the morning between 10 am to 12 noon so that you can explore the property at leisure without any of the usual crowd.
The Gift Shop at Casa Loma is located near Liberty Cafe on the lower level. Originally, this place was a three lane bowling alley but now it offers space for corporate and private events, engraving and printing personalized items from the shop, selling souvenirs and mementos.
